Pretty much calling this guy complete.

This is a 1/35 Royal Marine from Black Dog Resin. The original figure is molded with a wool beanie and an M-16 much like SBS. I wanted a more typical setup with a Beret so I replaced the head with one from Hornet Resin and gave him a L1A1 SLR ( also from Black Dog) with a lead foil sling. Also added a scarf from epoxy putty.

Painted entirely in Vallejo acrylics, I gave the whole figure a green filter wash which also made him look damp. I'm quite happy with the results. Comments welcome.

Cheers Andrew.

Think you have done a nice job on the Marine.Have the 2 figure set myself,They do lok like sbs or marine artic warfare cadre guys.Like the changes you made to the standard figure.

Thanks guys for the comments. As a newbie to this genre it's still funny to talk about 1/35 as small scale as the only little men I'd done before were 1/48. Looking forward to doing some more larger scale work as well.

I think this figure looks much better to the naked eye than with macro photos ( I can spot all my mistakes ).

Cheers
Andrew.
