Not having half as much modelling time as I'd like, finishing a figure is becoming a twice yearly event for me. With that said, here's my second figure for 2012. It's Andrea Miniature's 54mm '5 O'Clock Tea' and it's been a favourite of mine for ages.

I rarely miss an opportunity to paint Commonwealth figures as Polish, so I chose to paint this one as Sqn Ldr Zdzislaw Krasnodebski of the famous 303 (Polish) Sqn, just after being made operational during the Battle of Britain.

It's painted in oils and Vallejo acrylics. The dispersal hut was built using plastic card.

Hope you like it. Any comments or suggestions always welcome.
Cheers!
Nick

Wonderful. I would be happy to do two of those a year. Love the red in the skin and the dog. Only ever so slight critique is the chalkboaed which is superbly done but possibly too clean. Did you hand paint that?

Thanks Colin, Brian, Max, Tony, Brian and Steve for all your comments, they're much appreciated. I'm glad you all like it.
Colin, you're spot on about the chalkboard too. I'll sort this out tonight with a few subtle smudges of chalk dust. Thanks for the advice mate.
Dzięki Darek, Cieszę się, że Ci się podoba.

Cheers

That's really really good Nick! Perfect vignette in all the little details. Very atmospheric!
It doesn't matter how many pieces you make, it's the quality that counts!

Cheers,
Adrian
