Why am I asking this ....for potential releases ....and to gauge the interest in each

Sorry guys, my eyes are nowhere near as good as they were 10 years ago, so I can't get the level of detail demanded with the larger scales, so I stick mostly with 54mm. Any small mistakes in this sale, the viewer's eye and brain tend to fill in the mistake subconciously. I do venture into 75mm every now and then. The other thing is that faces can be slightly exagerated to make the contrasts stand out. I just can't be that subtle for the larger scales these days. Ray

Scale is always an interpretation of the sculptor.

Surely that can't be right. 1/35, 1/16 etc. will always be that.... won't it? Unless of course you meant size, 54mm and so on.

I'm editing this now because having looked again at the figures you have used as examples Jay I can see what you mean.
I'll stick with my previous comment though, scale shouldn't be open to interpretation it's a mathematical calculation.... unless someone knows different.

No, I agree with you. obviously in real life people are different sizes, but if you are modelling an actual person, then the scale should provide an actual size, if you see what I mean. Obviously weapons and the such would have to be a set size.

The examples given are roughly the same height if you take into account the distortion of the positioning, but they are obviously different sizes.

(y) I'm with you now Jay. :)
