Tamiya's old BMW motorcycle and sidecar was a cheap alternative to more expensive German Soldiers during a trip to the city with my mum to have lunch with Dad on Easter Monday, at $7 (Australian) it was a bargain and with two brand new paints thrown in it was even more of a better deal. The box was actually pretty big for a motorcycle that, when placed in my palm, did not even manage to reach the to sides of my hand. The model came complete in four different sprues, one for the motorcycle, one for the sidecar, and one each for the two extras figures included in the kit. The kit, as always, was fantastically modelled with minimal flash. As with most of my models, I always seem to forget too wash my sprue with warm, soapy water, although I was pretty happy with the final result. The only thing I don't really like is the face on both the figures. The flesh colour was a brand new Humbrol Enamel Flesh colour that just wouldn't mix that well together. Hope you enjoy the photos so far.
