This is a painted resin casting from a polymer clay orignal I sculpted of Lincoln in 1:12 scale. I used a combination of chalk pastels, artist acrylics and acrylic model paint and house paint for this one. Unlike many of my other figure paintings I primed this one. Think I'll go back to no primer for anything less than 1:8th. I'm not a good enough painter and the detail gets loaded up with paint.
