thank you all for your help and advice-i had a figure called highland king 120mm scale and converted it to look very similar to the post militaire, 75mm scale figure,adding a larger cloak around the body to hide the conversion and painted a tartan similar in style to the post militaire placed it...

i am just cleaning this figure up as we speak, i like the pose, and i still think that metal figures have a place and with a bit of work and patience, should be as good as any other rein figure.--will have a go and see how i get on.

YEP-thats it, i have it but cant find the shield.

it was the one standing with his sword arm down and the shield in his hand --think it was the first one he did.
