Longtime figure painter, with interests in North American subjects. Part of a gang of local painters, occasionally referred to as the "Hawaiian Shirt Mafia", due, I'm assuming, to our choice of clothing at shows.
American Revolution, French & Indian, American Civil War, Napoleonics. Started with 54mm, moved to larger figures, then got sidetracked by the Perry Brothers' 28mm wargaming figures. Have painted with Polly-S, Humbrol, oils, and now Vallejo acrylics.
Figure painting has lead me into a circle of friends I never would have otherwise found. These chaps are my best friends, and my life would be poorer for never having made their acquaintance.
