I totally agree with you about different interpretation. For my knowledge of the figures history the 1/32 scale was fixed in the '60 by Stadden... my preference is a 58/60 mm at the top

don't forget that when we chat about a classic 54mm we intend it measured at the eyes and not at the top. distance between eyes and the top is approx 3mm... a quick calculation... 54x 32 =1.728 57x 32 =1.824 1.750/30 = 58,5 at the top that means a 1/30 figure is smaller than a 1/32 measured...

here my version... the flag is around 6 cm square for a 1/30 figure

finally the kettledrum is finished ... this is not the time when I can appreciate my work ... When I am close to finishing the figure I hate it and can't see anything but the flaws. I have to force myself to finish it if I don't want it to remain on the shelf for a long time.

after a long time I'm back with this new figure ready for the brush... a Kettledrummer from the "bodyguard of the Comte d'Artois 1774". a transformation made from Figurinitaly parts (horse, head , hands) with Historex parts (Legs, drums) and ... putty... in this case it's magic sculpt unique...

a couple of Items have been added to Figurinitaly range both are available from [email protected] a new revolutionary soldier ( two head available ) in 1/30 scale sculpted by Antonio Zapatero and a new horse in a classical prancing pose
