I think there is no other option as to sculpt or convert my own figure in 1/16 scale (if i get that far)

I've been looking around and I found a lot of Soviet officers and NCO's, but very few normal soldiers.

no, i'm just using regular w&n winton oil, bleeding on a piece of paper.

I've change the basecolour from it's yellow tint to a more normal colour.
I've mixed the following colours:
Flesh, Titanium White, Yellow Ochre en Burnt Sienna
Mix the colours and get a decent colour
