Very good work, I see a clear difference of shape between horse and man, I guess it´s a small horse from the east.

Yes, you are right.. But it's more than you say. It's tall man on the small horse (although it's not very little horse for that age). Their prototypes was found in Chingulsky mound. The man's height is near 180 cm, and horse (at the withers) near 140 cm.

I ll try to make SBS with the next mounted figure. In some words... I make basic shadows and lights normally. And next highlights make with thin stripes. It is like usual highlighting. But middle and top highlights are being made with thin short lines.. something like this...
