Hi Paul , another question: of which firm are the para decals that you used on the priest???

Thanks a a lot.

Mario.

Mario, they are from Peddinghaus. While the quality may not be as high as Archer decals they contain a lot more options for less cost.

Thanks Paul , i saw in Peddinghaus site and found many interesting decals and of british canadians there are two type really interesting, more, i found decals for vietnam figures that i like so much, you ,usually, bought them directly from the site???

Bye bye

Mario.

Amazing diorama! Very well done, Paul! (y)

I don't know this figure, and don't know Hornet Figures in general, but I assume this one is a 120mm, or 1/16 scale, right?

Cheers!

Edit: Just found Hornet official website and downloaded their Catalogue.
They only do Heads and Hands?
I see a set of hands that I could use, that is if they are indeed in 120mm, or 1/16 scale. Funny enough can't find that info nor on their site nor on the Catalogue.

Thanks for all the kind thoughts.

They are all 1/35 sorry.
Their figures are now long out of production, but sovereign2000 i think may be bringing some of them back. (I bought an Italian figure from them at Telford 2019 which was an ex-Hornet).

I think i got mine through Ebay, for the postage.

Hi Paul,

"They are all 1/35 sorry."

Yes, after I posted here I contacted Roger at Hornet Miniatures, and got a prompt reply from him letting me know that their Heads and Hands are mainly in 1/35, with only a few in 1/32 scale.

What a pity :(

Guess I'll have to keep looking for a left hand in 1/16... (for an old US Navy Verlinden Pacific pilot, which sadly I broke...) .

"sovereign2000 i think may be bringing some of them back"

Did some research here on PF, then found his site. But again he only does Figures (couldn't find no Heads nor Hands) in 1/35, or 75mm scales.

I wish I could still work on 1/35 (and as I have a old Sd. Kfz. 163 in 1/35 from Italeri, I'm tempted to assemble and paint it, and then put it in a small diorama, with a few figures, so I might still try it again, and I'll see how it goes...), but my favorite scale now is 120mm, or 1/16, for Figures, and 1/10, 1/9, for Busts (guess I may do one of those 1/6 scale Busts that start showing up recently...), the bigger the better when one doesn't have any longer the eyes, nor the hands of some 3 or more decades ago... :shy:

Anyway, many thanks for your reply.

Cheers!

Dolf
