Mitches Military Model’s 120mm French Hussar finished as a First Regiment Hussar in campaign dress, circa 1813-14. A lovely kit sculpted by Moz Corry.

Super finish Kurt. As you say it’s a lovely kit and Moz did a great job sculpting it. Like the representation of the green campaign overalls.

Great painting on this Kurt.
I like the contrasting colours.

Thanks, Ometz, Neal, Mobo, Bob and Gordon. I appreciate those kind words. Having just painted one of Gordon’s Hussar busts in Third Regiment livery last year, I wanted to do something a bit different with this one. I always thought that the issuance of green riding trousers to all of the French Hussar Regiments was an odd decision, and would be an interesting look for this figure. Hopefully I did it justice.
