Afternoon all

Been working for what seems like an age on this little vignette which I've now finished. I've posted various shots of the figures as they were made on a thread here -
https://www.planetfigure.com/threads/bison-hunt.248888/page-2#post-1084026

The original vignette is made by Altores (one of my favourite companies) I ditched the original kit horse and cobbled together a new one from 4 different horses to get the pose I was after. I also tweaked the riders position and made up new arrows etc, but the bison is pretty much as cast (Fabulous bit of work)
A few added details such as feathers (self cast from originals in Duro) and a rope rein finished off. Everything painted in my usual acrylics. The base was one from Oakwood and very fine it is too.

Lots' of work, but I'm pleased with the result (Aren't there always a few bits you wish you could re-do?) ;)

Feel free to ask any questions
Stay safe

Hi Paul

Okay you win ....legs look good ........I really enjoyed the SBS and seeing what work you did even before any painting , classy modelling young man

The Indian is great as is the colouring on his horse but that "beefburger on legs" is just excellent , the colouring looks spot on

The contrast in size between the bison and horse really shows well ...a braver injun than me

Thanks for sharing and supporting the competitions

Look forward to your next

Happy benchtime

Fantastic work, Paul - I like the groundwork too, very busy & varied in textures.

Cheer Chris I do like a nice bit of groundwork :)

Nap, the secret is in numbers. You can beat one pair of legs, but not five pairs!

Seriously speaking, great job, Paul, very dynamic and nicely painted.

Thanks Sergei - appreciate it (y)
