Nice that! I love the Avanpost figures and thought that a group would be a good idea. Mine are all based separately but it's a thought for a future project!
Hi there
Really nicely done , good tight composition of figures , matched by the good artwork , like the pattern on the drum and good colour palette
Why not enter a piece into the class of your choice in our May's FOTM comp and also vote in Aprils classes as well
....And enter in Vignettes & Diorama #3 which will be running till 31/12/21 with voting till 31/01/22
Always good to see the artwork
Thanks for sharing
Look forward to the next
Happy benchtime

Are these two of the "action" poses? Love these figures! Thanks Tony. I saw they had a second groping of figures from the same period and scale, but in "action" poses that I thought would make for a pretty dramatic little vignette. Again, so many ideas, so little cash!

Really nice little group, I am sure that your are well pleased with the result, I have watched a videos showing the Avanpost figures being assembled in great detail and they look top class giving the modeler total enjoyment working with them so great to see them painted.

Beautiful work, can't say enough about this set, ghamilt! I love the oil work
Lovely figures to make up as well. Just done an FeR figure and it was hard work. Avanpost just fit perfectly. By the way on the oil/acrylic debate I have only recently got back into the hobby after an absence of 20 years when I used to use oils and Humbrols. I've used Vallejo acrylics but it can be hard work at times. I'm thinking of getting some oils but I see there are water based oils, are these any good and can you recommend a make?Yes, those are a couple of the ones I was talking about. They look great.
