I have 36 ww2 micro dioramas using GHQ vehicles and figures. I have converted many of the vehicles and figure to suit what I wanted to show.

I converted these SAS Jeeps from standard Jeeps, making Jerry cans from styrene and adding etched guns. The figures started life as Germans but were converted to SAS figures with Arab headdress and shorts. GHQ now sell SAS Jeeps but didn't 20 years ago when I created this.

This European SAS Jeep was created in a similar way from a standard Jeep. The Staghound was pretty much as it comes apart from opening the commander's hatch and putting in a figure. The scenery was created by me.

I'll post more dioramas as I get the opportunity.

I'll post the dioramas in the order that they're displayed above.
This is an Arnhem diorama with basic Jeeps and a 6 pounder. The figures were converted and building scratch-built with polyurethane, styrene and etchings.

This Sherman and 25 pounder had extra details added and hatches opened to put in the crew.

A Matilda and Grant. Commander's hatches opened and a few boxes added. GHQ vehicles are highly detailed already.

I'll work through my British dioramas and then add the German ones.

- how do you protect these fragile little treasures mate?

They live in the box shown at the top of this thread which has an acrylic front to keep the dust out. Each diorama is clamped in place by their bases. I have a bracket on the back of the box so it can hang on the wall.
