Fantastic progress Matt! Shep would have loved this. I was fortunate to be visiting Shep at his house with a couple of friends when he was working on some of the Monogram models. We were sworn to secrecy :) but it was truly inspiring.

Cheers,
Ken

Wow! Bucket list activity. You must have been a baby, that was awhile back! :)

Crikey, the wingspan on the B-24 model must be well over a yard, maybe 3'6"... even if setting that diagonally across, that will be a large base board. Lovely neat work on the plane, it's coming along well.

41 inches, but who's measuring?

Matt,
Have you considered the 8th Air Force Museum in Ga. as a home for your dio? They have a great museum and a lot of info on the 448th. My Dad was in the 417th Squadron.

It's definitely on the list! I just need to get the beast done:)

Impressive beast of a dio, I love it! That's an excellent scenario, looking really good. The interior, plus the foil tape damage, figures, rigs and all. Can't rush perfection no matter how long it takes, lol. I love the punch list too, btw.

Hi Matt

Thanks for sharing the plane it's a amazing piece of modelling, details everywhere , the cockpit, the weapons , the weathering so far , damage ...brilliant

The figures so far look excellent

Look forward to seeing the remaining and then seeing it all based up fully

Following with much respect at the skill

Happy benchtime

Wowzer - you know how to play with the plastic stuff too  Outstanding finish with the weathering kept nice and subtle.

Brilliant build so far which I'm really enjoying -thanks :D
