Completed Tamiya 1/16 ammo Loader to Fallschirmjager conversion

Recently returning to figure painting after many years, bought this not-very-interesting Tamiya figure on sale with a view to getting some practice on larger figures. However, noticed the kit came with some nice extras so thought I might get some sculpting practice as well and make him a little more interesting.... to me, anyway. So, attempting to turn him into a Fallschirmjager NCO circa 1944-45.

Shaved down his marching boots and much of the pocket detail from his tunic. Added Milliput detail for tighter fitting fallschirmjager lace-up boots, extended the pant legs, added the lower section of his bone-sack (i.e. jump smock) and straightened out his left arm.

These Tamiya and Dragon 1/16 styrene kits are excellent for conversion work and to try your hand at sculpting, nice job on this conversion.

Why not enter something in the class of your choice in FOTM , maybe also into the Vignette & Diorama comp , please take the time to consider and also do vote as well
