My version of the Alexandros 75mm "A la vie, a la mort"
(You would do the same for me).
Sergeant of line Infantry, Russia 1812.
Painted in acrylics. The dog is based on a German Shorthaired Pointer I used to have

Very nice indeed, I really like the base and accoutrements. Lovely painting all round, well done!

Great to see this here , apart from the no doubt extremely good sculpting, your painting really brings it all out , the patterns on the coat work well , the icons and book illustration hit the nail right on the head , with the dog bringing the closeness and caring side of the soldier despite the freezing conditions
