Thraex Gladiator (75mm, 3D Print, Hellbender Museum)

This is a 75mm 3D print (by Hellbender Museum) of a Thraex gladiator, which I got at the El Greco shop last year.
Painting is my usual mix of enamels, oils, printers inks and some acrylics and, since it was a one piece item, I had to be extremely careful with my paintbrushes and clumsy fingers (none of that 'paint it in bits and put it together' process).
Hope you like it, but if you don't, your comments will be equally appreciated.

Good to see you painting, nice figure as well , liking the fleshwork on him , and the colour flash linking the clothing and shield

You didn't fancy adding a little bit of blood on sword and ground ?

3D printed pieces are certainly easier to work with being lighter.

W.r.t. the blood, I decided I'd probably mess it up.
So, as far as I'm concerned, he's just entered the arena.

Very nice work. As others said, the skin tone is brilliant - something for me to aspire to

. But the pattern on the pants and the sheild are excellent work too.
