Hi to all, here go another figure from the EK Castings range in 60mm, ancient world. Aquilifer, Rome, 1st, 2nd centuries, white metal. Painted with acrylics.

Lovely paint job and I have this figure too.

Many of the EK pieces are little gems and every bit as good as many 'multi-part' pieces costing much more.

Excellent work and than you for sharing your work.

Hi Gary, I agree, the sculptor is really good, the detail has a bit more relieve than other brands, but the quality is really high.

Hi Eduardo. Yes indeed and sometimes minor things like spear or standard shafts need replacing and shield relief etc. sometimes needs rubbing down to reduce it for scale (or leave the outline as a template to free paint) but otherwise, with a black undercoat for those areas where the brush (or my skills!) cannot reach, they are absolute bargains in the hobby and many people are astounded when they see what can be accomplished with these figures by excellent painters such as yourself and many others on this site.

Once again, that's an excellent aquilifer!

Hi Eduardo

Another fine piece of painting , like the textures of the lion pelt , again plenty of details especially on the actual eagle
