Hi, Guys,

This bust from DF Military has been around for a while, and I know of at least one other treatment of it here on this forum. At 230mm it’s a large and complex sculpt. The main resin base is from Model Display Products.

Those of you who have been down the rabbit hole of Napoleonic uniforms will know of the numerous choices available for subjects like this. I located a few period illustrations for reference and I think the sapper may have been from the 1st Guards Regiment, and the girl has elements from several examples of the time. I haven’t reproduced the illustrations here as I’m not sure about the copyright.

Thanks for the comments. A couple of unexpected quality features, I think, are the little cask and the kid gloves with the gauntlet extensions - nice quality sculpting there.
