Hi Stefano

Apologies missed this update , love the work on lacework and decorations, the markings on the horse work really well

A pleasure to see

Thanks for sharing

these pieces are an example of how, by working correctly on the sartorial cut, very interesting pieces can be obtained.
If you look carefully, the revers on the brest have been turned up, revealing a couple of buttons on the waistcoat underneath, the waistcoat has also been lifted, revealing a good part of the belly. The tails have also been raised, to the point that the buttons on the lumbar have been raised by almost a centimetre.
The fact that no one noticed it, shows how, these very extreme changes, did not compromise the final result, which is completely harmonious and correct.

Wonderful build and paint job a standard to aspire to. So pleased I have now rediscovered these wonderful models and am lucky enough to have you and others on here and other sites as inspiration.

Cheers Simon

Also in this case, changes have been made to the tailoring.
The lower edge of the Kurtka has been raised by at least 5 mm, compared to the original supplied by Historex.
This allowed me to reveal more of my stomach, effectively raising the waist of my trousers. the tails are the original ones from the kit.
I lengthened the sleeves, moving the cuffs forward, which cover part of the hands.
Another detail, which for me is almost an obsession, is the collar, completely redone, almost high enough to touch the ears, starting from a very wide base...

Yes I was, I'm variously using rolled Magicsculpt, fishing line, thin solder or copper electrical wire, just trying to decide what's best.

Cheers Simon

I use tin wire, you can find it in different sizes, I'll send you photos; you can order it directly on the Web.
