thanks Scotty and Nap -Likenesses's are a different challenge (similar to my old line of work where we were called upon to create likenesses as a pretty staple item)but I like the occasional one here and there
 
Hi John

Even though there’s more legs than I’ve ever painted , it’s great to see these , good subject and very much having the period look
Are these based on pictures , full of characters in the sculpts

One of the best 8th Army sculpts I've seen in any scale. Sometimes those desert shorts can look borderline comical, but not this guy.

A pity it's a one-off. I'm sure that something similar as a commercial piece (hint hint ;)) would be very popular.
