Hi Calvin,

Nice work as always. Very inspiring to say the least. Very nice figure conversion. I too am into figure conversions WWII German and do alot of research in my war books for my next conversion. When I saw this conversion it brought me to a figure that i've had my eyes on to create. The figure is a Grenedier in Stalingrad walking over rubble and planks. The book is 'Panzergrenediers in Action' by Squadron/Signals publications. Could this be the guy that inspired you? Hope you don't mind me asking. Thanks Calvin. :)

I think I figured it out with this URL business. I'm trying to get it right.
Thanks for your patience. Here's the figure, I hope! :o

Calvin, Thanks for the additional pictures. I really like the pose and he really looks like he's wearing or carrying all that equipment.~Gary

Hi Calvin..very, very nice...the way that you've worked so carefully to depict the straps, some under tension, some loose...just looks absolutely beautiful and so realistic.

All the best...Roy.

Hi guys,

thanks for the kind words. Here's another quick update before I head out for Sunday Mass.

Calvin, that is an amazing figure. You've really captured the essence and feel of the photograph. He is spot on. My hat's off to you. How in the world did you manage the cuff title?
