Hey Everybody,

Here's a few pics of my latest effort, a 1/8 scale depiction of a man-at-arms from the Wars of the Roses. This piece could easily represent the typical soldier of the late Hundred Years War period as well. The man wears a sallet and breastplate over the livery jacket. His weary apprearance suggests recent action, perhaps at the battle of Towton, the bloodiest battle on English soil.

Great work Shane! Very convincing weary look, and the simplicity of this piece really draws attention to that fact. Great stuff!

Very, Very, Cool!

Most excellent Shane.
I too am hoping for a commercial release.
I'd like to have a copy (or two).:)
Thanks,
John

Dudes,

Thanks for all the positive words. I'm pretty happy with this one. The helmet is actually a separate piece which took more time. Still, It came together quickly.

Really nice bust. I love the character you've got into this, and the way you can see the pose he's in, despite the fact you were limited to only head and shoulders! Quality work, genuinely.
