Gidday,
This is a 1/16 scale project based on a Kiwi war artist Peter Mc Intyre painting who served in the MiddleEast and Italy .The painting depicts two soldiers ,one supporting his wounded mate across the strewn rubble of Monte Cassino.Although the painting shows only the back of the pair ,some artistic liscense for the faces can be used.Comments welcome.

Gidday Andy, you are a sculpting machine mate, and whats even more impressive is that you always paint them up to a very high standard, by the way will be submitting pics and article to Model Art very soon of your vietnam Grunt figure.
Cheers Andrew

Although the figures look rough at the moment,a lot of time will be spent cleaning up and adding putty or shaping when required.Once the nudes are anatomically correct, then the clothing and folds will be added.so the initial stages are the most time consuming.

The first thought I had was the guy on the right looks like the legendary Colin Meads.
Looking forward to seeing this one progress.
