I wonder could Vallejo paints be compared to the old enamel Humbrols? The thing with Humbrol is that I'm convinced the formula has changed (might be my loss of skill) they don't seem to flow or even cover so well as the older ones, even mixing the pigment sludge from the bottom of the tin doesn't work so well as it once did. In fact I wouldn't really call the stuff in the bottom sludge anymore, now it's more like a gooey paste.
The Vallejo's always look so nice, dead flat and all that, applying them is the doubtful thing for me and I don't like buying samples bottles without knowing how to work them.
