Here is my humble interpretation of Model Cellars 120mm Georges Guynemer, French Aviator WWI. Painted in oils and all comments welcomed. Great figure and so well casted! I recommend this to anyone! The medals were really well detailed as was the rest of the kit. Thanks for looking!

Nice work on our Guynemer figure! You did a fantastic job on the medals. And I REALLY like the face - nicely done.

If I could say one thing though: Why did you leave the overcoat off? Without the overcoat draped over his left arm, his arm looks a little out of place, stiff, or unnatural holding it that way =). The overcoat would finish it off and make THAT position seem more natural again?

I left the greatcoat off cuss I just could not paint it with the bas color showing through. I searched for a good oil mix for horizon blue but they were all so translucent it just didn't work!!
