Hi all,

I have been on the queue for over 2 years for this work of art. Although it is not exactly a figure kit of the scale and specifications of your preference, I think it is note-worthy for Max Schreck's likeness alone, which is spot on.

Sculpted by David Grasso and released by Nocturna Productions, this 1/6 kit caused quite a stir when it first came out years ago. Sold out in no time, the website could only advise potential buyers to sign up and join the queue, until god knows when a new caster would come around. It's been over 2 years since I joined the queue, and here we are.

The next in line to enjoy a re-release will be Klaus Kinskin's version:

which I am also on the queue for. Simply can't wait!

Rgds
Michael

Forgot to mention that the lantern bits are also included, and is part transparent (clear). I can't open it yet (have to be careful).

Nice sculpt this, the detail on the hands and face are very intricate. The detail some sculptors put into these large scale kits make them so lifelike. Love to see what you do with this one.

Thanks Ben. I don't think I would touch it recently. Only got time to pay but no time to paint due to my insane MSc degree coming to a conclusion in two months.

FYI, this kit is consistently referred to in the Garage Kit community as the No 1. Max Schreck full figure kit.

Thank you guys for acknowledging how lucky I am! Of course I earned my piece thru all this waiting, with the occasional doubt that they might never get a caster to cast it again. I half gave up, you know?

Yes Derek, the hands are the stuff of nightmares. The likeness of the head sculpt certainly makes this piece, but the faithful replication of the hand movements from that black and white cinema gold when IT greeted the visitor no doubt adds to the appeal. I want to emphasize that the lantern is amazing.

I also thank you for your compliments on behalf of the sculptor himself, who would unlikly visit PlanetFigure. After all very few of us swim in both this and the Garage Kit world. Very few.
