Coldstream Guard Officer Bust

This is my latest bust - Verlinden's 200 mm Waterloo Coldstream Guard Officer. It is done in oils over acrylics. The metalic details are Tester's enamel and printer's ink.

Any comments and suggestions are welcome.

David, very nice work here. Hard to find anything to complain about for sure. I would like to see the highlights and shadows pushed just a tad further in a few areas, but that is purely a personal preference. Well done!

Thanks for your comments. I'm not sure my picture does justice to the highlights and shadows, but I'll certainly work on that with future pieces.

The intricacies of the equipment has been brought out very well. The reds are very subtle. Great stuff.
