Marine Raider WWII
I finished my Marine Raider figure that I have been working off and on for the last six months. The kit has a square resin piece that represents water that the figure stands in. I wanted to do a little more and add some color to the base.
I had a round base that my son-in-law made, so I used that. I used Magic Sculpt to create a stream bank and water. The vegetation is Green Line GL-063-gn Jungle Pack #1 and GL 066-gn Jungle Pack #4. These are lazer cut paper from Fredericus-Rex that I purchased from Military Miniatures Warehouse.
The figure was painted in acrylics and the flesh in oils. I darkened the pant legs at the water edge to show water wicking up the pant leg. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
