i think its from the french company LE ETAAINS DU GRAL which means the follower of the grail?
in any case an very heavy item.i have some figures of them too.they are an transition of fantasy and historic correctness.while some are very accurate others go totally in the fantasy direction.nice aspect they are deliverd on an wooden plinth with an leaden nameplate.
lots of work which does show nicely.very heavy if it falls you on the toes.heavy metal rules
cheers(y)

Very nice work Javier. I have got a smaller version of this kit (also much cheaper) which is made of plastic instead of metal. It is in my grey army and is "one to do" one day. Seeing yours has spurred me on to get it out of the attic soon.

When I lived in Germany I used to visit Strasburg about twice a year, and each time I used to pick up a couple of these Etains Du Graal cast pewter pieces from a shop in the main square there, opposite the cathedral.

I've never painted any of them though, and until now have never seen any painted up. Great job, most impressive!

I've seen this set on display in the window and it's VERY expensive to buy all at once. They also do a beautiful chess set of historical pieces which costs similar silly money.

Yes, it's quite expensive, but I'm not paying the kit. Every figure I'm showing is part of my job (I pay the rent with them!)
A client chooses the figure, I make an invoice and make an agreement with the costumer.
In a place between 2 weeks and 1 or 2 years, depends on how big is the project, it's finished and given to the costumer.

Pretty impressive the whole thing!
So chivalry tucked have never seen and that is what I love
Excellent my friend!!
