Completed Prussian Bugler 1806

Here's one of the things I'm working on at present, it's a 1/10th scale bust and to give him his full title, he's a 1806 Prussian Bugler, Schuetzen of Inf Regt, von Puttkamer.
Apologise for the poor pictures as I didn't check the camera settings.
The first pics show the initial build of the bugle and hat both made from Magic-Sculpt. Followed by pictures of the Head and Body both made from Super Sculpey firm.

Many thanks for looking and any and all comments and critique much appreciated.
Cheers Ken

Hi Ken:

Wow, what is it about a Tricorn or Bicorn that gives that atmosphere of a
romantic era filled with heroic adventures? I think one of the reasons why I
admire Lord Horatio Nelson so much is because of the Head gear he wore;
aside from the great sacrifices — and at Trafalgar, the ultimate sacrifice —
he made for his country.

I see this as having a lot of possibilities, Ken. And I remember the bust
of Capt. Aubry form Master & Commander that was so so very popular.
Hopefully, you'll have that kind of success with this one. I'll follow this
project with much interest.

Inquiring minds want to know, will there be SBS and further News at
Eleven???

hello ken
well i think we will see an next gem emerge.like it already.good thing minuteman did now release some of you sculpts.hope i get them fast.seems they need considerable time before they bring out new stuff.
lovely and intersting subject.
cheers

Dear Pinsel.

Hi there, your order was shipped this morning.

Thank you so much for your support in buying the busts.

The reason it seems we sometimes take some considerable time to release new stuff is that I have a full time sales job and travel quite alot for my company. If I am away (and it has happened a lot the last 6 months) I can not be casting and producing.

I can not say no when the job sends me out of town, the way the American economy is going there are 1 million other people waiting in line to take my job.

Cheers, and thanks again for your patronage. We have more items coming soon for release at the MFCA show at Valley Forge in late April.
