Completed Gothic Knight

Andreas Gothic Knight just about done.
Not much painting on this one but a lot of polishing .
Replaced the original reins as this was an old kit and they had become a bit brittle and they werent really to scale.
Custom made base by Gordon Wells ..{thats chippy on this site}

Thanks for the positive comments.
Got this one off EBay and was delighted to see it was in the old Andrea red box.
Not sure if the quality would be as good if it was a later figure in my experience .
The metal cleaned up a dream with a wire suede brush and a round ended needle to burnish it.

Thank's for giving me a mention on the base Martin , although your name was being given every kind of expletive that came to mind while I was trying to router out the rebate for the groundwork

, but now I see it completed it was well worth the extra time

.
I like the way you have treated the metal work and not tried to weather it as this stuff was incredibly expensive and always kept in pristine condition . I also like the white horse , it makes a change from bays and goes well with the metals .
