Hello All,
My latest effort, A Swedish drummer boy from the Battle of Helsingborg 1710. The figure is inspired from the painting of "Stenbock at Helsingborg" by Gustav Cederström, the painting is not at all historical correct but I liked the youth with the apparently civilian clothing and enormous clogs.
Its sculpted using Magic Sculpt on a modified body from a Dragon 1:35 figure. The head from hornet and drum scratch built from plastic card. It will, in some distant future, be part of a little vignette.

Very nice sculpting and details on this figure, i really admire your work.
I am sure it will be a great vignette when it's done.
I follow.
Cheers

Thank's all. Seems like this type of shoes is quite common around europe.
About The painting, it is indeed The same artist who did the painting "Bringing Home the Body of King Karl XII of Sweden", but this one is Called "Stenbock at battle of Helsingborg". Gustav Cederström did quite many paintings with motivs from The Great Nordic War. Great inspiration but be aware that The artist not always depicted The history correct.
