After almost a year away from the brushes I returned today and started on the Iroquois Bust by Stormtrooper Miniatures.

Above you see the oil mixture for the base coating over Humbrol #121 for the flesh I use for Native Americans.
20% Burnt Sienna
40% Yellow Ochre
40% Raw Umber
This is applied over the Humbrol and then the excess wiped off with a flat edged brush leaving the humbrol showing through. I then apply yellow where the humbrol shows through and wait an hour for the oils to soak through.
Above are the brshes I use only for doing this procedure of flesh all lined up and ready for use.
The above two photos show the yellow applied to the highlighted areas and awaiting the hour on the timer and I will blend the yellow into the base and then apply titanium white to the same areas I applied the yellow.........damm....it feels good to be painting again. I really missed doing this.
