At my current rate of painting my grey army will last about 4 months.However For the next few weeks I will be working on my railway.

Nice job Ralph, looks good. Lovely figure as well, he's near the top of my own "to do" list as well.
50 figures in a year is insane - sorry! If I manage to finish 5 in a year I'm doing well (I always have a few more in various stages of completion though). Life just gets in the way too much, and I often find that when I feel like painting I don't have the time, and when I do have the time I don't feel like painting! You gotta be "in the zone".
Keep 'em coming. And no-one can accuse you of sitting on your stash.

Ron,for the grass,I start with a base of static grass then over this I use hanging basket liner cut up and glued on top(Hairspray).This is then sprayed black and then various greens.The taller grass/growth is Elk hair.Hope this helps.
