Glen - VERY NICE piece of painting there - if you don't mind me asking - what colors did you use for the flesh tones?? Dave

Nice job on a nice figure. Have one in the stash myself but I haven't seen many of these painted up so it's good to see.

Thanks all! I was going for a dark skinned Moor. The skin tones are:

Reaper Linen White eyes with Walnut Brown (WB) pupils. The eyes are little more than slits, so I left it that.

WB for the eyelashes - basically a dark line around the entire upper lid and a dark line around the lower lid starting about 1/3 the way from inner corner and working around to the outer corner.

Dark Skin (DS) and WB base.

Dark Skin Shadow (DSS) and WB shadow under brows, nose, lower lip, and jaw.

Oiled Leather (OL) , DS, WB for the first lights.

Tanned Skinned Shadow (TSS), DS, WB, and OL for the second lights.

DSS and WB lips.

The ratios are 1:1 or 1:1:1, etc. There's some minor adjustments in there, but they weren't exact; just eyeballed.

Cheers,

Glen

Thanks Joe!

Sure thing Dave! I'm using a similar - maybe a bit lighter - mix on an upcoming Tuskeegee Airman from Thunderbird Miniatures.

Cheers,

Glen
