Hi!

My last work and 1st of the new year.
The scale is huge but the figure have IMO beautiful pose and worth every dollar.
Very hard to paint the crimson of the British coats, the tone is hard to get.
I tried to fade all the clothes trying to achieve the tones of Mr.Bill Horan in a 54mm figure he painted some years ago.
I like the final result and now is time to move on.

Cheers,
Pedro.

Marc, cheers sir and thank you.

Pedro.

A very good paint job, clean and neat.I
Its one of my favorite periods of history. Who make's the figure?
Bob

Hi Pedro,

Very good work! I think that you managed quite well this figure: the red tones are good enough, the trousers tones are also very good and the terrain is simple and effective ;)

Regards
Pedro

Hi!

Bob, thank you for your comment. The figure is from Thunderbird Miniatures. Here!!!
Colin, thank you. Next will be Perry´s 28mm if I dont change my mind. :)
Pedro, glad you like the figure. Obrigado!

Cheers,
Pedro.

You've done a great job Pedro.
Very precise painting. I like the colours and weathering. Red is looking perfectly fine to me.
The sweat stains turned out very nice as well.

Cheers,
Adrian

Obrigado Vitalino!
Adrian, the sweat... not a easy task. Thank you!

Cheers,
Pedro.

Nicely done Pedro,..I also like the sweat patch it's well done.
Overall result is a beautiful piece, well done.

Pedro, well done completing this figure. I like the weathered effect of the tunic and he sits within the groundwork very well. I particularly like the interior of the helmet that you have painted with leather and khaki bracing.
I'm on an Anglo-Zulu inspired phase at the moment (always after Xmas for some reason?) so good to see your work.
Cheers
Mat

Mark, thank you. The sweat is tricky, was the 1st time I did something like this in a figure.
Marco, merci beaucoup!
Ralph, thank you sir!
Mat, thank you for your warm comment. The helmet are dificult to paint.
...Is a sign that you have to follow, so I think you have to paint something about this period.(y)
Glad you all like.

Cheers,
Pedro.

Hey Pedro,
I think you have done a really good job with the paint work with this figure, especially the red tunic, I recently did this figure too and its a fun build and fun to paint.

Hi Andy!

I looked many times for your work searching for references but I missed your realistic approach of this uniform. The blues and red´s are difficult so I tried to apply some fading, as you see.
Thank you for leaving the message.

Cheers,
Pedro.
