Hi All just to show you the next release from Ellie's Miniatures. it's a bust of a Chasseur d'Afrique 1870.
The piece is being sculpted by Moz.

We should have it ready in a couple of weeks will keep you informed as to the date.

Nice piece Ian. Should be a fun fig to paint as its a very bright and colourful uniform. I just wish it had legs :(
It should do just fine though as half figs are very popular and this sculpt is very well done.

I'll have to be patient and wait for the German contingent to hit the scene ;)

Hi Ian.

Something different again. Looks good and should do well. Looking forward to your box art.

Peter.

Hi Gerard it's a chassepot, not the normal one carried by the Troopers but both Moz and myself researched the bust and found that some of the troops exchanged the carbine for the Chassepot and it was more accurate and a much better weapon. moz also found a couple of art works with the trooper holding the rifle. I hope that helps.

It's now in my hands so will be in rubber very soon, and have to say moz has done a great job.

Cheers
