Here's my take on Andrea's 'Warrior of the North' , its sure to be a popular subject
It's a very good likeness of Eddard Stark, I love the grim face which, for me, was the highlight of painting the bust.
I chose to do the sword in NMM style which was a lot of work but gives a different look that adds interest and was fun to do .
The model went together easily, however, the arms were metal on a resin torso and quite heavy making the model front heavy - I will pop it on a wooden base.

Nicely painted, and the NMM sword looks very good.
At 1/8th scale this must have been quite a lump to work with.

Nicely done, good likeness of Sean bean too.

Do you mind if I suggest, in this scale adding a

coat of gloss varnish over the eyeball surface

will bring them to life more.

I didn't want you to think me critical.....it's great.

I now find taking photos of my models a help.

I see bits 'still to do' all the time,
that aren't obvious to the naked eye!

Nice work. I just bought this kit at MMSI and look forward to painting it.

One question: what is the material that he is wearing on his back, underneath the wolfskin? I'm trying to figure out how to paint it but I can't find any pictures of it.
