Here's further coverage of my boxart of this new release for Tommy's War.
Really enjoyed painting this little trio & look forward to doing more conversions on this base figure.
What do think of this one?

I also reckon a flexible figure which can quickly be changed by removing badges (many shots so these missing or lost) or adding new ones for alternate units. You can use the heads too for converting other Tommy's Tommies into ANZACs at Gallipoli, Palestine or Egypt theatres. E.g. 54031, 54024, 54023, 54012, 54006

Bob, Gordon, Nick, Anston, Marc, Huw & Sarge...

Thanks guys for taking the time to comment, especially if this helps share or inspire you to represent the history of our tiny nation.
Plenty more ANZACs to come, some may tire off them, not me :)

Always a treat. I am thinking of adding this one to a Chunuck Bair diorama I plan to start in the near future

So look forward to seeing your diorama Matt.

This Weta painting of Chunuk Bair is particularly inspiring for me.
What do you think?

Stay safe,
Mike

I certainly find it inspiring but less of the tiny nation bit - I've seen the All Blacks !!!

Cheers

We do try to compensate for our size Huw mate ;)
Now we use the rugby ball instead of a rifle too :)

Another test against the Boyos tonite.
I was stoked to go to see our local team "The Chiefs" play Wales on Tuesday night.
It was a very special occasion

Check out the Chiefs Haka video half way down this page:
