Howdy all,

This is a 1/9th scale bust sculpted by Yuri Serebryakov for Castle Miniatures. I painted this bust sometime back when I was first learning to use acrylics.

I was looking at it the other day and thought that I could improve the eyes and flesh tones, so out of the cabinet and to the desk it went. After obtaining satisfaction with the new look I began to feel a bit bold and decided to go for that out on campaign look.

I used the following materials:
Andrea, Vallejo, and Jo Sonja acrylics
Winsor and Newton oils
Mig pastels

Personally I'm happy with it, what do you think?

Cool Joe.
Very well done on the campaign look. He looks dusty and dirty.
It pays to be bold, at least this time!

Cheers,
Adrian
Howdy Adrian, and thanks for your comment. I got him a little greasy so that he looks like he had to do a little mechanicking to keep his panzer going :D!

Hi mate
Great job I do like it when soldiers are made to look and appear as they do when at the sharpe end
Cheers Chris
Thanks Chris! That's pretty much what I wanted to do besides simply improving the brushwork. To have him look like a tanker, in this case more specifically a panzersoldat in his element.
