Hello my Friends.
This is my latest from Stormtrooper Miniatures..120mm.
Painted with oils and acrylics.
Weathered with pastels.
All the best.

Ralph, which pastels/weathering powder do you use on your figures and afv's for that matter, ones specifically for modelling or normal drawing ones ground to dust?

Nice models by the way. (y)
Roger,I mainly use soft artist pastels.
However earlier this year I bought 3 of the Vallejo weathering powders and intend to buy a few more as I find them very good.

Cheers Nap:).
I think I'm getting used to using the pastels on figures now.
As for the dozer it took about 3 weeks to do.Each individual track link had 3 parts to them:eek:

I know some modellers who shall remain nameless who have "borrowed" their good ladies makeup eye powders/ blushers etc for use on the bench!...lol

3 parts per link ...your as mad as a bucket of frogs mate ...lol ..... Complete busts don't have that many on some !

Happy modelling

Terrific painting, love it. I will have to try some of those pastels, I've used AK stuff and it looks and feels grainy, perhaps it's more suited to AFV's.
Thats a nice figure to add to any collection.

The 3 Vallejo powders that I have used are real smooth.
And of course pastels can be as rough or smooth as you like.
