Hi Guys,

My latest effort here. "Tommy" is a 120mm scale double bust available through Black Pyramid gaming, from the "Tales From The Raj" range.

All painted in acrylics, with wooden base by me!

Thanks for looking,

Steve(y)

Its based on Caton Woodville's painting Tommy Atkins, but when I researched the turban it belongs to 1st Skinner's Horse, 1880. (Plate D, Osprey, Bengal Cavalry Rgts, 1857 - 1914), before it changed to blue/white/yellow. The regt did see action on the NWF at that time.

If Im honest, there should be very fine gold and black lines on it too, but I think if Id tried to paint those, it would have ended up in next door's garden!!(y)

If it looks good it is good.:) And painting to your own ability is all that matters.
And painting to me is about fun and not complete accuracy:D.
