MMM Viking Warrior 200mm

Hi All,

Recently finished this 200mm figure from Mitches Military Models. Quite a big model but good fun to paint. I tapered the wooden base and built the ground work up with mud effects, stones, grass tufts & some random twigs. I was happy with the end result.

Hope you all like it. Any comments welcome.

Looks good Steve if anything I would say put a wash on the groundwork to bring it all together a little more ...

But hey ..I haven't painted anything with legs for years !

i don't see well from your pics : are the sword and knife handles painted ? they look like white ...

Thanks for the comments. Yes the handles are painted, I went for a bone colour. Although the pics are not very good.

Superbly executed figure - would put the fear of God into anyone. My only 'beef' is with the sculptor. Vikings are often portrayed with shaggy beards, but apparently took great pride in their appearance and kept them trimmed (!).
