As the result of an enforced absence from painting for the last three months ( primarily due to moving house and living with the outlaws) thought I'd post some previous bits and pieces. View attachment 302568 View attachment 302569 View attachment 302570

The first is FER's World War One highlander. Love their figures, great detail and crisp moulding.

Next one is Pegaso's 75mm French Napoleonic chasseur. With this one I tried a new flesh mix from an old Phil Kessling article in military modelling magazine and tackled the lace with the non metallic method.

Apologies for the poor quality of the photos- taken with camera phone. One day I'll invest in a proper camera.

A sharp looking trooper there. Good idea on adding the ivy climbing the wall. It helps to set off the scene by giving it just a bit more visual interest(y)!

Many thanks Joe. Must admit groundwork is not my strongpoint but seeing some of the work on this site does spur you on to keep at it.
