thank you everyone for your lovely comments, It is my passion to take ordinary people and make them standout

Are these for O gauge (7mm:1ft. or 1/43) or are they 7mm high?

Mike

Railway scale 7mm stand for 7mm/foot or 1/43,5
7mm is the Bristish O gauge, the O gauge is not the same in America, or in Europe .

For figurines amateur we ourself use strange sizes/scales
54mm a big standard means that all the represented are exactly the same 54mm from sole to eyes, meaning Napoleon look the same size as a Postdam Guard
ex : all Lasset G&B 54mm on a same row , ancient MA or modern are all 54mm to the eye

1/32 is a scale meaning Napoléon ( cinq pieds, deux pouces, quatre lignes ) 1m69/32 = 52,8 mm sole to top of head, average Postdam guard 1m88/32 = 59mm

but here kit producers reduce well the vehicle to the 1/32 but rarely the humans, all being apparently the same size , the question is what average human size do they use before reducing at 1/32 . They are now some set makers who offers in the same set, figures of various reduced size taking into account that in an army they are guys 1,85 and 1,60m tall all mixed together .

And toy set makers, they say now 1/30 .. of what ? Usualy they are 60mm sole to top of head a reminder of the 60mm size of the american toy soldiers industry .
But some as K&C were selling tank, with infantry near the tank, writing on the box 1/32, yes for the tank, no for the soldiers

Confusing ? Yes even a bit more when new producers in the 80ies came with 54mm, yes but sole to top of head .

But this is a reccurent discussion on all forum size vs. scale

I still don't know whether these are O gauge scale or 7mm high!

...... Railway scale 7mm stand for 7mm/foot or 1/43,5
7mm is the Bristish O gauge, the O gauge is not the same in America, or in Europe ..... the actual size in mm is 40mm, noted in the first post . !!!!

Apologies - my wife is always telling me to open my eyes or get them tested (as did my late mother!).

Thanks for the Clarification Mike, normally these are done for NSW O scale locos, funny think is NSW modellers use 1/43 or 7mm but all other Oscale is the American 1/48 (except for a few of the smaller can loco that are easier to do in 1/43, I actually found out that these were actually printed in 1/48 for the customer. and because they are prints off real people each of theme is the size of the real person, so could be 6ft1inch or 5'7, the beauty of 3d Prints

Thanks Clrsgt, WehrWolf and Billy Turnip for your kind words
