Hello folks,
Whike i am working on the french cavalry i decided to start the regular French infantry.
The Regiment of Royal Vaisseux was present at the battle of Fontenoy , and they will be part of the vignette, i will have thw Maison Du Roi including the French and Swiss guards, the Guard cavalry andnregular cavalry including Marshal.de Saxe and King Louis XV on horseback.
The uniform was white coat, royal blue cuffs and red vest, this uniform was modified after 1762 for the whole French infantry when the introduced the heavy reforms after the disastrous performance of the French Army in 7 YW.
The figures are from Sash & Saber, the heads are from Trident designs.

Thanks my friend, i cannot fool the Doppler Radar you have hahaha

I have added some shades on the vests and highlighted the red using Scale 75 red signal.
I have finished one of the coats, used a mix of vallejo panzer aces desert tan and dab of light grey-brown.
Washed with citadel mudd and highlited with base color for the coat adding scale 75 war front series "cremweiss".

Hi Daniel

Nice to see them with the coats finished , the white looks right not over highlighted

The fellow on the left really has attitude in his face

And now they all went to the regimental barbers as well .....nice styling ...

Look forward to seeing more on these

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!! Fontenoy !!! My planned, and due to a long illness, abandoned project. I envy a bit, but I will definitely watch very closely. So many types of troops you plan on, amazing mate!!! Good luck, I wish you as a creator, as well as us, the observers :). And you also have a strong hand and patience ;).

Cheers Borek :)

Thank you so much my friend!
I will have to find a place for all of these minis haha

Speaking of Fontenoy, you should check out this website:http://users.skynet.be/letricorne/index0ag.html
I was fortunate enough to visit that battlefield with a friend and we were given an excellent our of the lay of that land by Monsieur Tripinaux.

That must be an amazing experience, just to think that so many years ago that Battle took place there, it is just a lifetime experience.
Cheers
