A Fixture
Hello folks,
I have finally finished this little vignette.
I had these figures waiting for about 7 or 8 years to be used.
I' ve got a wood base from a craft store , i used the end of a cork to paint the Royal blue and fleur-da -lys and used purple paimt for the inscription.
This Regiment served in Martinique from november 1775 until march 1783, most of their drummers were recruited locally, hence the Black drummer.
Its principal engagements during the American War for Independence were the Siege of Savannah, the Siege of Pensacola, the Siege of Yorktown (for which it was awarded the title "Royal Auvergne" by King Louis XVI), and the Battle of the Saintes.
Cheers
